Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident when topping up your credits. Here is exactly how payment authorisation and refunds work.

1. How Payment Authorisation Works
When you purchase credits, your card is authorised immediately — the funds are reserved on your card but not yet collected. We then capture (charge) the payment within 3 days.
Your card is reserved for the purchase amount. Credits are added to your account immediately.
You may request a refund. We review and process approved refunds within this window.
The charge is captured and the payment is final. Refunds are no longer available.
This approach gives you time to evaluate the Service before the charge becomes final, while allowing us to confirm that credits have been used responsibly.
2. The 3-Day Refund Window
You may request a full refund of a credit purchase within 3 days of the transaction date, subject to our approval.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We will approve a refund if:
- The request is received within 3 days of the original transaction.
- The credits purchased have not been consumed by completed jobs.
- There is no evidence of abuse or policy violation on the account.
If some credits have been used, we may offer a partial refund for the unused portion at our discretion.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your card issuer but is typically 5 – 10 business days.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at:
Please include the following in your email:
- The email address on your BookcastAI account.
- The date and amount of the transaction you wish to refund.
- A brief reason for your request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 1 business day. Requests received on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.
4. After 3 Days
Once 3 days have passed from the transaction date, the payment is captured and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
This policy exists because credits are a prepaid digital good that are consumed immediately on use. After the 3-day window has closed, any remaining credits on your account continue to be valid and never expire.
